In this video I will show you how to make
brewed cocoa from roasted and ground cocoa beans.
To start you’ll need roasted ground cocoa beans and a French press.
I like using Crio Bru Cavalla French Roast cocoa beans and a stovetop kettle to boil
the water. To brew the cocoa, I use 6 tablespoons of
ground cocoa beans for approximately 32 ounces of boiling water.
First, I add the ground cocoa beans into the French press.
Then I add the boiling water. Next I stir the cocoa and the water with a
spoon. Now I let the mixture steep for 10 minutes.
Come back and stir one more time. Then press the brewed cocoa slowly so as not
to burn yourself. If you press too fast it may spill over.
Pour into a cup and experience this wonderful new taste of brewed cocoa.
