TOASTED MARSHMALLOW SHOTS RECIPE


Howdy folks how is it going welcome to my
virgin kitchen today we are making some fantastically stonking marshmallow shot glass they are lined
with white chocolate and filled with the beverage of your choice. Perfect for a party, because
you can freeze them ahead because you can actually make them indoors like I have so
all year round fun so we have gone for Baileys in these. But if you have a jagermeister fetish�
* R Kelly moment * kind of like I have you can do that or for kids you could milk in
them something like that whatever you want to do, so if you want to have a go at making
this hit pause on the video write it all down, I want to thank my friend Carl for Tweeting
this suggestion so pretty darn cool, so cheers for that Carl although I did dress up as a
cow for him once long story there and I will tell you sometime if you want. Anyhow this
is how you do it, you must give it a go so you can send me your pictures and I can drool.
The first thing we are going to do is toast our marshmallows, now here in the UK our marshmallows
are kind of tiny, so if you are going to get bigger marshmallows you will get a bigger
shot glass, so good times all around. Push your marshmallow into the bamboo skewer go
the fat end into the smaller end if you can because we are going to extract it in a minute.
So now it is time to toast our marshmallows on our hob so get a low flame on there if
you want to do it outdoors you can that is fine or if you want to get one of those little
camping stoves. So there are 2 ways of doing it, slowly rotating it over the flame to toast
the marshmallow or you can do it the hardcore way like I did, get it on the flame, hardcore
style and blow it out. Here comes the cool bit, so you want to sit
it down and pull out your bamboo skewer and in doing so you will pull out a sort of mini
marshmallow placenta thing. Which actually does taste pretty darn good, as you can see
like that it has not been touched by the flame, yummy tasty.
So repeat that step as many times as you want for the number of marshmallows you are making
and all you want to do the base of them are quite weak so if you add some chocolate in
there (melted white chocolate) it will add some support and strength, place in the fridge
for ten minutes and then you add your drink of choice. So I went for baileys as pouring
it straight out of a shot glass would go everywhere little bit carefully like that and it is looking
amazing. That really is it then guys so if you have
a go at this recipe let me know down below what you would put in yours, the World is
your oyster or your marshmallow shot glass whatever you want to call it white chocolate,
dark chocolate, milk chocolate, hazelnuts in the chocolate so many possibilities if
you do have a go send me a picture @myvirginkitchen just like these mozzarella sticks, so so good,
it is just really nice when you do that obviously I have to edit the video and do not want to
be drunk whilst doing it as that may be a bit silly, so I will be a good boy and have
one, and after I have edited the video, damn right I am going to have a load of them! So
we will do a shot back first of all and then into the mouth.
Wow there is nothing better than taking a shot of Baileys at ten past nine in the morning
I do not condone that it is just for video purposes right now but that has made me feel
quite merry not going to lie I need to have my breakfast, anyhow you have the smokiness
of the marshmallow the white chocolate lining, so so good remember to that adds flavour but
also helps to seal it which is really important and of course that baileys kick again let
